Elder Lamont Holifield is a native of Chicago, IL. He is an associate minister of the Apostolic Faith Church where he has served under the leadership of Bishop Horace E. Smith, M.D. since 2005. In addition, he is the pastor of The People of the Name Apostolic Assembly, Inc. He is an ordained Elder in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.)
He has received a Master of Arts degree in Training and Development, another Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education and a Bachelors degree in Mathematics as well as four graduate certificates from Roosevelt University. He currently teaches High School mathematics and serves as the Instructional Leadership Facilitator at Urban Prep High School-Bronzeville Campus and serves as a licensed adjunct faculty member of Friends International Christian University.
In short, he proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has been regenerated after a traumatic encounter with death in 2007 when he was diagnosed with an incurable disease.
